About Mo Beler

Since 2020, Mo Beler has handled sourcing and structured financing for the New York City debt and equity team at the Maryland-based commercial real estate company Walker and Dunlop. Mo Beler joined the group after founding his own billion-dollar advisory firm. In his role as senior managing director, he brings more than a decade of experience in acquisitions and capital markets.
Earlier in his career, he served as the head of investments for the Innovo Property Group, a real estate investment company focused on developing and acquiring commercial and residential buildings in New York City. Prior to this role, he was an executive with the privately held management firm Rockwood Capital.
Mr. Beler possesses a dual degree in accounting and finance. While pursuing his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, he established an on-campus charity, Pennies for the People, which donated proceeds from recycled bottle deposits to causes that helped people experiencing homelessness. He went on to graduate from the business school with high distinction.
